The coarsest expression of the mind is the Universe ; and the subtlest form of the Universe is the mind.
As you develop and grow , your view and vision changes while the world remains the same. The intense love for the toys in your child-hood are gone forever while toys may be there still.
So long you have fixed faith in your idea of good and bad, you can not surpass your bound human condition. The filth or garbage that that you hate so much is life giving food for millions of germs and insects. They are also the play and manifestation of the Divine.
All ritualistic practices which your power of discrimination can not accept , are blind practices.
So long the Mind exists, no body -not even saints, can deny this physical world, yet the quality of your mind with its relative predominance of three vibrations within you (sattwa, rajo and tama) will decide your view of this world.
Consciousness is the only reality in existence. Raja Yoga is the spiritual Scientific way to experience the Divine directly, like in experimental science. But you have to be an Einstein to know about the Theory of Relativity first. There comes `prarabdha`
or re-incarnated soul-qualities earned through evolutionary births.
