Knowledge about both Mutable and Immutable UNIVERSE s or COSMOLOGY (including COSMIC INTELLIGENCE ) was known to Bharat from the very first Birth of Civilization ( SEMITIC or Pre-Metalic Age i.e 3 to 5 Millennium (before) B,C).

From BRIHADARANYAKA UPANISHAD :
" Gargi -- ' That which is above Heaven and below the Earth; which is also between
Heaven and Earth.... in what is that woven ?'
Yajnavalkya : ---That is woven in S P A C E .
Gargi : In what is Space itself woven ?
Yajnavalkya :' The sages call it AKSHWARA ( IMMUTABLE)......IT consumes nothing and
nothing can consume IT........ and who ever dies without knowing this
IMPERISHABLE ( immutable ) dies in a pitiable state !
This imperishable is the SEER

Also to remind that :
In that AGE of VEDANTA , Gargi was a woman - Sage proving proving also that even women of that period were capable and EQUAL to the Men-Sages .
That was the height of Spiritual ascent Bharat had reached ( ? now lost ) !
And MAITREYEE ( wife of Sage Yajnavalkya was another one of the so
many of that GOLDEN Period
Bharat now known (through Greek slang) as India !!
