INDIA`s(to me-, Bharat) PAST GLORY - DOWN-FALL AND AFTERMATH :
A great Nation`s down - fall begins when it forgets its own glorious past and starts `copy-cat-ing` the Invaders,- both Colonial or Economic. I shall rather take the help of sage `s opinion rather than inserting my own borrowed knowledge.The following is the extract of lecture of Swami Vivekananda at Brooklyn Standard Union, Feb,-27 ( Complete works of Swami Vivekananda Vol -II ; ADVAITA ASHRAMA :5 DEHI ENTALLY ROAD ; Calcutta - 7oo-014 ; !4th Edition 1983))
1. India , -where stood the earliest craddle of Ethics, Arts & Science
2. There is more evidence that Christianity is founded on Buddhism.....we find it in inscriptions from the reign of ASHOKA (300B.C) *[ASHOKA was declared the greatest of all Kings ever and anywhere , - by H. G . Wells]
3. According to Sir Willium Hunter,India has even contributed to Modern Mediacal Science
4. Algebra,geometry, Astronomy and triumph of mixed Mathematics (Zero & Decimals) were all invented in India (Bharat).*{With Roman Arithmatic , Modern science would even to day be a Crawling -baby -Science.]
5. In Philosophy India is , even now ,ahead of any other Nations ( ask -Schopenhauer or C. J YUNG). In Music seven cardinal notes and the diatonic scale was there in India(Bharat)in 350 B.c.
6 India has given the World the Fables of Aesop(from a Sanskrit book). India is the first to make cotton & purple dye .`Sugar` it self is a `first ` product from India.
7. India invented the game of Chess {Of course we ,now , crazy , mad anrd excited to `copy- cat ` other game that is Colonial e.g Cricket and every mimicry like `Bolly-wood`}So great was the past that even Columbus mis-took a great Continent ,AMERIKA ,as `India` and named the inhabitant `Red-Indians`.
When a Nation forgets its own Culture , know ,-the time of its `Fall` Has begun !

Judgement at the Cosmic level is automatic and inevitable. Even `REVELATION` will support my view.
Good or bad, we put an iron chain around the neck of the tall Statue of a National Ruler or Dictator and made it a Global show through `Media` for the whole world to rejoice..Maye , he deserved his defeat, even death.( Yet, there have been many `dictators` before and still there are so many even to day ! ) But to put an iron chain round the neck of his statue , whether that was brave act or not,, the humiliated Nation can not and shall not forget it ever and their future children are sure to record it in their heart, and in every generation of their future.
Did Germany forget the way it had to sign the surrender in aftermath life of world War I !
So, - Newton`s Law of Acton-reaction. or Second law of Thermodynamics and Einsteins`s Cosmological Constant are not only Scientific truth for Heavenly bodies or `Balancing act high above in the sky but also for biological and Socio-ethnic and political sphere.
I believe, - Humanity has to pay back accordingly for the `Public - show ` of the super-strength of `Military/-technological Ego of Power /Powers involved in that very event or the tragic `Game of WAR.`

COSMIC RELIGION (Vedantic) ; part -I

`I have realised that Absolute,at last , the creator of all life-force ; and all that effulgent invisible luminosity overwhelming all that is `dark or dead`and by knowing which alone,one can conquer and transcend Death.There is no other way There is none other path.
All energies(or Fields) in any form are the ONE,-manifested in myriad ways.All Sun(s), all stellar forms - ar also the ONE, that lights up all Universes.
It is but the ONE , -that dawns all space.The Absolute is the only ; and that alone transcends and becomes all ! That is what ever is or ever was.! `

SPIRITUALITY :
[ I have my Ego and shall retain it}

If one has full faith in himself and in his discriminatory power, he should not feel shy of his ego.

See ! what sort of father`s son I happen to be
`He ` overwhelms the whole Cosmos` and more beyond
This world , the sky, all planets ,the sun
even stars and galaxies and Universe(s) - are His property, sir
want the whole list of account ! - you w`ll turn insane
and - I have my legal share of inheritance everywhere
even if I falter and fail ; or do right or wrong ! - better remember.

MY RELIGION :
Once , on some cross -road of my mid-life, I
was was walking in the flower garden and saw a humming bee near a flower.
I asked the bee - `from which flower you select your honey, - dear ?
Through that sweet humming `vibration` unto my heart the bee spoke softly: -' I have no Particular choice or bias ; whichever flower allows me or offer, I collect the drop-lets for my honey, 'then and there from' ,`that` .

From that day onward I knew my religion and was `Baptized` almost at once.

DIRECT DIALOGUE WITH THE DIVINE !

What shall I gain by seeing you
and with my aging bi-focal glass
had deepest desire to `Know` thee,-my dear
what it matters where you ever are

Everybeing,- should be your form and shape
and if thou art also within -as my `Self`
why should I care to go elsewhere!
or ask a priest for help !

ABOUT RELIGION (part -II )
1 Religion is ofttener, an external outfit orID card ; Spirituality is the real evolvng man.
2. George Bernard Shaw was an atheist but more spiritual than many church/mosque/Temple -priests ; his famous words: `animals kill to appease hunger while man kill for sports`. GBS was a true vegiterian. ( our V.P`s recent record is worth mentioning, he failed in aiming a bird, but shoot his friend. Maybe, a bigger target is good for better performanc)
As killing of fellow Muslims is no sanction from Allah, Burning of Bruno, the great scientist, or harassing Copernicus or punishing Galelio do not speak speak `great ` about Catholic sect of Christianity.
In early Bharat- varsha (not copy-cat ing of Greek-slang :INDIA) even Charvak was free to speak his way without knowing 1st amendment enraging. As a ` Sanatanist`,to me hindu word, is a slang . Sorry ! or distorted pronunciation.
Darwin , I believe, only so much about biological and physical evolution but least about the mental-psychic evolution of expanding soul-consciouness/awareness, That way KAPILA was the first and C.J.Yung the last `Masters` who told about about evolution of Mind/Collective consciusness or ascent of Humanity.

ABOUT RELIGION ; viewer`s opinion (ch -12 ; 4 pm ; 4/01/07--ET
If it is real honey, you can`t say from which flower the bee collected it.(after Vedanta's).
There has been more deaths in the name of religion, since Civilisation, than total death s in all the wars put together (after the author of ` Adventure in Consciousness`[on life of Sri Aurobindo])
[Yet the record- killing on a single day in World War II , may be Hiroshima-incidence]
All` religions ,even after recorded reformations , gather blind habits /faith /local or regional ritualism like old/static stones gathering moss.
I believe , Religion really means the way we live our life and the way we respond not only to our neighbour but also the way we treat not only all humanity but all living -beings .Religion should not be a mere social, ethnic or political identity issue or ID-code.
Historically, all post-Axial Religions suffer from Identity-crisis, as recent Scientific studies prove.
The word `sacrifice,` does not mean - `animal -sacrifice` but the `sacrifice of `animality` within ourselves(Vedanta -view).
